As many items are made to order, specifically for you, delivery times vary from piece to piece. It is our aim to send your order as efficiently and safely as possible.

UK Delivery

All UK jewellery orders are sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery, ensuring your jewellery is delivered safely, securely and fully insured.

Secure & insured UK delivery: £9.95

This service includes full tracking, a signature on delivery, and compensation cover for complete peace of mind.

Jewellery is precious - and we believe it deserves to travel that way.

Physical gift vouchers are sent using Royal Mail Signed For, which is £2.95

International Delivery

All international jewellery orders are sent using Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed, providing tracking and proof of delivery.

International secure delivery: £19.95

Please note that Royal Mail’s international services offer limited compensation cover compared to UK Special Delivery. This service is suitable for many orders, however it does not provide full insurance for higher-value jewellery.

For complete peace of mind, fully insured courier delivery can be arranged at an additional cost — simply get in touch and we’ll be happy to organise a quote for you.

Physical gift vouchers are sent internationally using Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed, which is £9.95

 

Customs & duties

International customers are responsible for any local import duties, taxes or tariffs charged by their country. These fees are set by the destination country and are outside of our control.

Returns & Exchanges

We hope that you will be delighted with the jewellery that you have purchased! In the unfortunate case that you wish to return any item, you must contact Kate Smith within 7 days of receipt of your purchase, stating the reason for the return. Please feel free to discuss any possible exchanges that may be appropriate for you.

Once a return has been agreed upon, please carefully package the items(s) to avoid damage. The jewellery must not have been worn, altered or damaged in any way.

Please include with the goods: your full contact details, reason for return and any agreed exchange you wish to make.

Other than where there is a fault with the item, the cost of returning it will be at your own expense. It is recommended that it is returned using either Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery to ensure safe delivery. 

Kate Smith Jewellery cannot accept responsibility for damaged or lost goods whilst in transit from the customer.

Refunds or exchanges will then be made to you within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods, conditional upon stock availability and in agreement with Kate Smith.

Any items that have been especially commissioned or made to order (ie bespoke items in a size/style/stone that is not normally made, engraved items) are NON- RETURNABLE.

Rings can be returned, for either an exchange or refund. Alteration within one finger size is free (within one month of purchase). For alterations or exchanges on rings of more than one full size difference, a charge of £30 is applied for non-stone set rings, and £40 for stone set rings.

If you are unsure of sizing, please do get in touch for advice. We also offer a free finger measuring gauge, that we can post out to ensure an accurate size is ordered.
