As many pieces are made to order, delivery times can vary. Each product page includes an estimated dispatch time.

UK Delivery

All UK jewellery orders are sent using Royal Mail services, carefully chosen to balance security, speed, and cost.

Orders £175 and over

  • FREE UK delivery
  • Sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery
  • Fully tracked, signed for, and insured
  • Guaranteed next working day delivery after dispatch

Orders up to and including £174 - choose your delivery option:

  • Standard Delivery (Tracked 48 – delivered 2–3 working days after dispatch)  £3.95
  • Signed Delivery (Tracked 48 – signature required, delivered 2–3 working days after dispatch) £5.45
  • Royal Mail Special Delivery (Fully tracked, signed for and insured, delivered 1 working day after dispatch) £8.95

Jewellery is precious and we believe it deserves to travel that way.

Physical gift vouchers are sent using Royal Mail Signed For (£2.95).

International Delivery

All international jewellery orders are sent using Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed.

  • International delivery: £19.95
  • Fully tracked with proof of delivery

Please note that Royal Mail’s international services offer more limited compensation cover than UK Special Delivery. This service is suitable for many orders, however it may not fully cover higher-value pieces.

For complete peace of mind, fully insured courier delivery (e.g. DHL or FedEx) can be arranged at an additional cost — just get in touch and I’ll be happy to organise a quote.

Physical gift vouchers are sent internationally using Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed (£9.95).

Customs & Duties

International customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes or tariffs charged by their country. These are set by the destination country and are outside of our control.

30 Day Money Back Guarantee

We want you to feel completely confident when ordering from us.

If for any reason your jewellery isn’t quite right, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

To be eligible, items must be unworn and returned in their original condition and packaging.

This guarantee applies to all ready-to-wear pieces.
Bespoke, customised, engraved or resized items are non-refundable.

Free UK Returns

We offer free UK returns for your peace of mind.

If you’d like to return an item, simply email kate@katesmithjewellery.co.uk within 30 days of receiving your order, and I’ll guide you through the process.

Once your return has been approved, items should be sent back within 14 days.

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 3–5 working days of receiving your return.

Exchanges & Ring Resizing

Rings can be returned for exchange or refund.

  • Resizing within one finger size is free (within one month of purchase)
  • Resizing beyond one size:
    • £30 for non-stone set rings
    • £40 for stone set rings

If you’re unsure of your size, I’m always happy to help.
We also offer a free ring sizer, which can be posted out to you.

A few important details

  • Items must not have been worn, altered or damaged
  • Returns must be packaged carefully to avoid damage in transit
  • We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions
  • We recommend using a tracked service for returns, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit
  • For international returns, return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer
